Collections

The collections of The Danish Museum of Art & Design include decorative and applied arts and industrial design from the Western World covering the period from the Late Middle Ages to the present day. The “area of collection” also takes in the Far East, namely China and Japan, from prehistoric to modern times. During the present decade there has been particular emphasis on Danish design and applied arts from around 1900 to the present day.
