Textile by Marie Gudme Leth
This is one of the country’s largest and finest collections of textiles, its most impressive examples being drawn from most areas of textile art from the Renaissance to the present day. The largest sub-groups are those of Danish embroidery, weaving and textile printing from the 20th century. The costume collection consists of some 750 complete costumes, mainly women’s, as well as hats, shoes, bags and other accessories, the emphasis here being on the 20th century.
